2019 Amanohashidate Beach Illumination Event

Ranked 3rd as one of last year`s must-see Japanese summer sceneries.
Beach Illumination:
Every Night July 13th-Sept. 1st 7 pm-10:30 pm
Town Light-up:
July 14th, July 28th, August 4th, August 11th, and August 18th 7 pm-9:30 pm
Every Sunday July 14th-August 18th (Excludes July 21st)
The area between Amanohashidate KTR Train Station and the Amanohashidate Sand bar is lit up and decorated with Japanese umbrellas and lanterns.
Night cruises are also available on the above listed days and restaurants normally closed nights will be specially opened. Concerts and musical performances are also scheduled to be held at Chionji Temple on certain days (Event dates to be decided).
Amanohashidate Beach Bar:
August 31st and September 1st 5 pm-10:30 pm
The Amanohashidate Beach Bar “Les Pins” will be specially opened these two days only!
Come enjoy a drink on the beautiful illuminated beach!
