Amanohashidate Onsen “Chie-no-yu”

The onsen which stands right next to Amanohashidate Station. The name of this onsen “CHIE” means “wisdom” and the onsen was given this name in hopes that all those who visit will be blessed with good health and wisdom. (“yu” means hot water)
This onsen has both inside and outside onsen as well as onsen for hands and feet only. So, many people can enjoy this unique style of onsen.

This onsen contains sodium and is especially popular among women since this spring quality is said to make people beautiful.
(The spring quality is called “BIHADA-NO-YU.” “BI” means “beautiful” and “HADA” means “skin”.)

“Ashi-yu(Onsen for feet only)” is in front of the onsen and is open to everyone to use for free. (Closed irregularly)
